Cooking appliance used: Ninja Cooking System.
1/2 lb each or ground chuck and mild Italian sausage
1/2 large onion diced up
3/4 C uncooked rice
1 to 1 and 1/2 tsp garlic
1/2 tsp or however much you like each of rosemary and oregano
Salt and pepper to taste.
Mix all of that together for your filling
Then turn your Ninja on high, heat your water, and cook about 14 or so leaves until just tender. Take em out and obviously discard your water.
Roll meat mixture into your cabbage
In your Ninja dump in 1 each 14.5oz can of diced tomatoes and tomato sauce. Then I kinda "rinsed" the can out with some tomato juice and added that too. Add whatever spices you'd like in your sauce (I just added a bit more salt and pepper and oregano and garlic). Place your cabbage rolls in your sauce mixture and cook on slow cooker setting LOW for 4-6 hours and drool while you're driving! lol
